Thank you for visiting our website!
Launched in 2007 by celebrity television chef Jenny Bristow, Menu of Moyle is an exciting local food initiative aimed at championing the local food producers and eating establishments of the Moyle District Council area of Northern Ireland. Now in it's second year, this highly successful initiative continues to emulate the sucesses of last year and will go on working to achieve its aims through promoting the use of quality local produce in new and exciting ways.
The Menu of Moyle Competition is one of the ways in which we are encouraging the extensive use of Moyle produce, by helping it take its rightful place on the menus of our local eating establishments. Running from 1st May until mid - September 2008, many of our local Restaurants, Pubs & Inns and Coffee Shops & Brasseries are competing in Menu of Moyle 2008 to showcase their creative skills by offering imaginative, locally-inspired dishes which feature at least 60% of local produce. Why not take a browse through the menus on offer and see which one gets your taste buds going!
The Menu of Moyle project is organised by Moyle District Council’s Cultural Tourism Programme (which is funded by the European Union through the Peace II Programme, managed by Moyle Local Strategy Partnership).
