About the Moyle Area

Situated on the north eastern corner of Northern Ireland, the region of Moyle covers a largely rural area of approximately 190 square miles and boasts 42 miles of North Antrim’s beautiful coastline – one of the most spectacular in the world!

Giant's CausewayWith more than its fair share of famous landmarks, the Moyle area is very popular with tourists from all over the world. Three of Northern Ireland’s best known features have their home here: the mystical geological phenomenon of the Giant's Causeway (a World Heritage Site), the spectacularly beautiful Glens of Antrim and the rugged beauty of Rathlin Island (the region’s only inhabited island, which lies 7 miles off Ballycastle with a daily ferry service).
